Our team is working with a large federal agency to modernize all aspects of their health services application portfolio and we need top notch technical skills to get it done! We need a well-rounded team member with a background in MUMPS/CACHE development and integration that can work within an Agile team environment to maintain and enhance VistA applications.

The MUMPS/CACHE developer will collaborate with a mix of technical experts and architects, business/product owners, business analysts, technical writers, testers, and scrum masters in a DevSecOps focused, Agile-Scrum environment. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide technical expertise in MUMPS/Cache development, integration, and deployment.
  • Support HL7 messaging and healthcare data management initiatives.
  • Work within an Agile Scrum and DevSecOps environment.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and system architecture.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable MUMPS code.
  • Participate in backlog refinement, estimation, and sprint activities.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-5 years of experience with MUMPS/Cache software development.
  • Experience with HL7 messaging development and integration.
  • Knowledge of software development, web applications, APIs, and architectural patterns.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to understand user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Ability to work remotely.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
