FANUC Robot Programmer - Contract Opportunity
Location: Marshall, Michigan
Start Date: Mid-July 2026
Duration: Initial 4-Week Project (Potential Extension)
Openings: 3 Positions
Schedule: Full-Time, Project-Based Contract
Job Overview
GableTek is seeking up to three experienced FANUC Robot Programmers for an upcoming automation project in Marshall, Michigan. This project is scheduled to begin in mid-July and is expected to last approximately four weeks, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience programming, troubleshooting, and supporting FANUC robotic systems in manufacturing and automation environments.
Responsibilities
  • Program, modify, and optimize FANUC robot applications
  • Troubleshoot robot, process, and production issues
  • Perform robot touch-ups, recoveries, and path modifications
  • Support system commissioning, startup, and production launch activities
  • Work closely with controls engineers, electricians, and manufacturing teams
  • Verify robot functionality, cycle times, and process quality
  • Document programming changes and project updates
  • Follow all customer and site safety requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience programming FANUC robots in an industrial environment
  • Experience with robot troubleshooting and production support
  • Ability to perform robot touch-ups and process adjustments
  • Experience with robotic cell commissioning and startup activities
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and process documentation
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Experience
  • Automotive manufacturing experience
  • Spot welding, MIG welding, material handling, assembly, or sealing applications
  • FANUC HandlingTool, SpotTool, ArcTool, or PaintTool experience
  • PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
  • Vision system integration experience is a plus
