Robot Programmer (FANUC) – GM Certified

Location: Kansas City, KS
Duration: Approximately 3 Months (Mid-September 2026 – January 2027)
Shift: Day & Night Shift Available

Position Overview

GableTek is seeking an experienced FANUC Robot Programmer for a long-term automotive manufacturing project in Kansas City, Kansas. This position requires a highly skilled programmer capable of working independently in a production environment with minimal supervision after project kickoff.

Candidates must possess current GM GRS Certification and GM Greenlock/MPS certification and be comfortable supporting robotic automation, electrical systems, troubleshooting, and production startup activities.

Responsibilities
  • Program, modify, troubleshoot, and optimize FANUC robotic systems.
  • Analyze and interpret test data to identify and resolve design and programming issues.
  • Support production startup, commissioning, and ongoing production operations.
  • Assemble, test, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems.
  • Install and maintain electrical control systems and solid-state equipment.
  • Set up and operate testing equipment to evaluate system performance.
  • Modify prototypes and electrical assemblies as needed.
  • Perform quality control inspections and document findings.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and electrical documentation.
  • Provide technical support to engineering, maintenance, and production teams.
  • Assist with project planning, estimating, scheduling, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with customer safety, quality, and engineering standards.
Required Qualifications
