Job description

Laser-View Technologies supplies non-contact sensors and systems to industry for machine and process automation. We also design and market innovative automation products for the overhead crane industry;

We are seeking a new Controls Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities
Design and support of our automation products for overhead cranes and industry;
Electrical controls involving PLC programming, sensor integration, and controls systems design
Support of existing systems
After sales and presales support
New product development
On-site commissioning as required.

Knowledge and Skills

Experienced with industrial control systems and sensors PLC programming primarily with Unitronics, but experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens useful. Ability to create complex PLC programs from scratch is important.

Schematic and control cabinet layout

Preparation of specifications for contractors as needed

Ability to communicate with production, management, customers, and vendors in a professional manner

Work is on-site and not remote due to the learning curve related to building bill of materials and learning our products; Travel and off-site work, as dictated by system orders

Candidate must have full dexterity and be capable of working safely at heights with no physical limitations during system on-site commissioning.

Salary range for this position is $70000 - $120000 per year. We offer the following benefits:
