Crystal Bridges is a museum of American art located in Bentonville, Arkansas. We explore the unfolding story of America by actively collecting, exhibiting, interpreting, and preserving outstanding works that illuminate the American heritage and artistic possibilities. Position Summary:
The CBMO multimedia producer is responsible for creating and producing a wide range of digital content, including photos, videos, animations, graphics, and interactive media. They manage the entire production process, from initial concept to final delivery, collaborating with various creative teams to bring ideas to life.
The multimedia producer brings exhibit, brand, and event marketing to life through compelling digital storytelling, that is responsive to marketing targets, accessible, immersive, and engaging for diverse audiences.
Principal Responsibilities:
Project Management and Planning:
  • Conceptualizing and planning: Developing ideas, storyboards, and scripts for multimedia projects.
  • Budgeting and scheduling: Managing project timelines and ensuring projects stay within budget.
  • Client collaboration: Working closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and goals.

Production and Execution:
  • Technical skills: Operating video and still cameras, audio equipment, and software like Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Studio, After Effects.
  • Collaboration with teams: Working with writers, designers, and other creatives to bring projects to life.
  • Post-production: Managing editing, sound design, animation, photo editing and other post-production tasks.

Content Creation:
  • Video production: Filming, editing, and producing video content for various platforms.
  • Photography: High-end marketing photography for live events and programs, as well as installation photography for creative and curatorial archives.
  • Animation and graphics: Creating animated visuals and graphics for projects.

Delivery, Distribution and Organization:
  • Ensuring quality: Maintaining high standards for multimedia content.
  • Preparing content for delivery: Ensuring content is optimized for different uses, understanding bitrates and standards for social, web, broadcast and physical playback devices.
  • Staying updated: Keeping up with the latest multimedia trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Keeping assets organized: Maintaining a dated, organized file structure for assets, to ensure easy recall for multiple projects and future use.

Content Creation & Production
  • Develop and produce multimedia content such as videos, photography, interactive displays, animations, and assisting digital exhibitions.

  • Produce content for websites, mobile apps, and social media to extend the museum experience beyond the physical space.
  • Explore immersive technologies like AR/VR for storytelling and interpretation.

Evaluation & User Feedback
  • Analyze visitor engagement data and feedback to improve multimedia offerings.
  • Stay informed on best practices in digital media, design, and museum education.
