About the Role

We're looking for a high-energy, ideas-driven and culturally fluent Content Creator to help shape the next generation of storytelling across the Daily Mail's 150M-strong social ecosystem - and our growing network of digital-first brands.

This role is for someone who thrives on camera and knows how to turn ideas into content people want to watch. You'll pitch, script and front videos designed to cut through on TikTok, and Instagram - bringing personality, strong storytelling, and confidence to everything you create.

You have a strong editorial instinct across a broad news agenda - from international affairs and the economy to pop culture and internet trends, with a proven ability to distil stories into engaging, platform-native content that connects with social audiences.

Working out of our New York studios, you'll play a central role in building high-quality, talent-led content that resonates with younger audiences and drives editorial and commercial growth.

Main Responsibilities

  • Front standout short-form content across TikTok, Instagram and other platforms - with strong editorial voice and personality
  • Write punchy scripts, captions, and copy for social posts, video formats, newsletters, and occasional long reads
  • Pitch and develop original ideas - explainers, reaction content, Q&As, reviews, and creative series - in collaboration with producers and editors
  • Bring your niche expertise to life on-screen, whether in news, entertainment, gaming, health, money, or culture
  • Support high-value branded content campaigns with premium, advertiser-friendly storytelling
