Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist to support students across K-12 in a single-site school setting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in psychoeducational evaluations, IEP processes, and behavioral interventions, along with a collaborative approach when working with students, families, and school staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
• Lead and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide counseling support and student group interventions
• Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families
• Support MTSS/RTI frameworks and data-driven decision-making
• Maintain compliance with special education laws and timelines
Required Qualifications:
• Valid School Psychologist License (North Carolina)
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Completion of an approved graduate program (Ed.S., MS + CAS, or equivalent)
• Successful completion of the Praxis School Psychologist exam
Skills & Experience:
• Experience with cognitive and academic assessments (e.g., WISC-V, Woodcock-Johnson, WIAT)
• Familiarity with behavioral assessment tools (e.g., BASC-3, Conners)
