About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth for our IT staffing and workforce solutions practice.
 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling IT staffing services to enterprise clients and strong hands-on experience working with MSPs (Managed Service Providers) and VMS (Vendor Management Systems).
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new IT staffing clients and accounts.
  • Identify and target companies with ongoing IT hiring and contingent workforce requirements.
  • Build relationships with Hiring Managers, Procurement, HR, Talent Acquisition, MSP Program Managers, and Vendor Management teams.
  • Generate new business through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Identify opportunities within MSP and VMS programs and successfully navigate the vendor onboarding and client acquisition process.
  • Develop relationships with MSPs, prime vendors, implementation partners, and enterprise clients.
  • Understand client workforce requirements and position appropriate IT staffing solutions.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through discovery, proposal, negotiation, and account closure.
  • Coordinate with recruiting and delivery teams to ensure successful fulfillment of client requirements.
  • Expand existing accounts by identifying additional hiring needs, departments, locations, and skill requirements.
  • Track sales activity, pipeline, client interactions, submissions, interviews, and placements using CRM and other sales tools.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, staffing rates, and emerging IT skill demands.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and business-development targets.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales within IT Staffing or Technology Staffing.
  • Proven experience selling IT staffing solutions to enterprise and mid-market clients.
  • Direct experience with MSP and VMS-based staffing programs.
  • Strong understanding of the IT staffing lifecycle and contingent workforce
