Job description

Full-Time | $17-$25 per hour including commission | Weekend Rotation Required
Turn Conversations into Revenue. Get Paid for Performance. If you're competitive, confident on the phone, and motivated by uncapped earning potential, this is your opportunity to build a career in sales while helping customers through one of life's biggest transitions.
This is not a general customer service position. This is an inside sale and closing role. The ideal candidate is comfortable asking for the sale, overcoming objections, following up with leads, collecting deposits, and being held accountable to booking and conversion goals. Customer service supports the sales process—but your primary responsibility is generating revenue.
What We Offer
  • $17.00/hour base pay
  • 1% commission on booked moves with uncapped earning potential
  • Full-time schedule with consistent hours
  • Shared weekend rotation for work-life balance
  • Paid training with proven sales systems, scripts, and coaching
  • Career advancement opportunities into leadership and higher-earning positions
  • Fast-paced, performance-driven team environment
  • Real sales experience with measurable goals and growth opportunities
About the Role
This is a high-volume inside sales position focused on converting inbound inquiries and outbound follow-up calls into booked moving services. You'll guide customers through the moving process, build customized estimates, identify opportunities to increase revenue, and confidently ask for the sale. Success in this role is measured by your ability to convert leads, increase average ticket value, and consistently meet performance goals.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Answer inbound calls and online inquiries with the goal of booking the move during the first interaction.
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to quoted customers to convert estimates into booked jobs.
  • Build accurate moving estimates using company software.
  • Ask strategic questions to understand customer needs and maximize job value.
  • Recommend packing services, supplies, storage, junk removal, valuation coverage, and other services to increase revenue.
  • Confidently overcome pricing concerns and customer objections.
  • Ask for the sale and secure deposits on every qualified opportunity.
  • Track leads, quotes, and follow-up activity daily.
  • Maintain detailed customer records and sales notes.
  • Deliver a professional, energetic customer experience that builds confidence and trust.
What We're Looking For
  • Sales-driven mindset with a desire to earn commission.
  • Minimum one year of experience in inside sales, call center sales, high-volume phone sales, or customer-facing sales preferred.
  • Comfortable making outbound follow-up calls every day.
  • Confident asking customers for deposits and closing sales.
  • Strong objection-handling and negotiation skills.
  • Able to remain positive and persistent after hearing "no."
  • Motivated by goals, commissions, and measurable performance.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
What Success Looks Like
Successful team members consistently:
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly booking goals.
  • Maintain strong lead-to-booking conversion rates.
  • Increase average job value through consultative selling and upselling.
  • Follow up on every opportunity until a decision is made.
  • Accurately manage leads and customer information.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience while driving revenue growth.
Who May Not Be the Best Fit
This position is designed for individuals who enjoy sales and are motivated by performance. Applicants with little or no experience in sales, inside sales, call center environments, or high-volume phone-based customer interaction may find this role challenging. Success requires confidence on the phone, persistence, accountability, and a willingness to ask for the sale on every opportunity.
