Summary:
The RN Manager Mother Baby is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Mother Baby/Postpartum unit including staffing, patient care quality, team leadership, and departmental operations. This leadership role works closely with Womenโ€™s Services leadership to ensure efficient, patient-centered care while supervising nursing and support staff in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Responsibilities:
โ€ข Manage daily operations of the Mother Baby unit
โ€ข Oversee staffing, scheduling, and patient care quality
โ€ข Supervise RNs, CNAs, and Unit Secretaries
โ€ข Support development of departmental policies and procedures
โ€ข Collaborate with Womenโ€™s Services leadership team
โ€ข Maintain regulatory and quality standards
โ€ข Support staff development and unit performance improvement

Requirements:
โ€ข Active RN license or Compact RN license required
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s Degree required (Masterโ€™s preferred)
โ€ข BLS & ACLS required
โ€ข NRP required within 60 months if not currently held
โ€ข 3+ years recent Womenโ€™s Services/Mother Baby/Postpartum RN experience required
โ€ข 1+ year leadership or supervisory experience required
โ€ข Strong postpartum leadership experience preferred
