Nüvitek is seeking a Senior Application Developer to provide senior-level software development, application sustainment, integration, and technical leadership for enterprise applications. This role will serve as a Sustainment Lead or SME, supporting the application lifecycle from design and development through testing, deployment, modernization, and production support.
Applicant must be able and willing to be onsite 5-days a week in Mechanicsburg, PA.

In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Nuvitek's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

What you will do
  • Lead application development, sustainment, modernization, and lifecycle management activities.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable software solutions.
  • Design, develop, test, debug, and enhance enterprise applications using C#, MVC, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL Server.
  • Develop and integrate REST and SOAP APIs, web services, and enterprise system integrations.
  • Build automated business processes using BPMN and low-code/no-code platforms, including Appian, Salesforce, and Nintex.
  • Develop web applications using technologies such as React, Vue.js, Node.js, and Telerik Kendo UI.
  • Support application deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps activities using Azure DevOps, Azure DevOps Server, AWS, and Azure.
  • Troubleshoot complex application, database, infrastructure, and integration issues.
  • Work with enterprise databases, messaging, caching, monitoring, and scheduling technologies, including SQL Server, RabbitMQ, Redis, Quartz.NET, and Splunk.
  • Use development and testing tools including Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, TestComplete, TestExecute, NuGet, and NPM.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
  • Develop technical and user documentation and support application training.
  • Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, security, and efficiency.


What you will bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant software development or application engineering experience.
  • Expert experience with application sustainment and software lifecycle management.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft .NET and SQL Server development.
  • Experience with C#, Java, JavaScript, PowerShell, JSON, XML/XSD, and WSDL.
  • Experience developing APIs and integrating enterprise applications and databases.
  • Experience with low-code/no-code platforms and BPMN-based process automation like Appian, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
  • Experience with Agile and/or hybrid development methodologies.
  • Experience with large-scale database management systems and complex enterprise applications.
  • Experience as an application programmer on large-scale DBMS, knowledge of computer
  • Experience with cloud environments, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
  • Strong analytical, communication, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills.
  • Eligible for a Secret-level clearance or maintain a Secret-level security clearance

  • Federal government contracting experience.
  • Experience with enterprise application modernization and systems integration.
  • Experience integrating Appian, Salesforce, Nintex, or similar platforms with Microsoft .NET and SQL Server.
  • Experience providing technical leadership or mentoring developers.
  • Experience with MadCap Flare, Moodle, Bitvise SSH Server, or similar documentation, training, and infrastructure tools.
