Mandarin-Speaking Pediatrician – Outpatient Pediatrics

HealthYes Staffing Network is seeking a Mandarin-speaking Pediatrician for an established outpatient pediatric practice in the Brooklyn area of New York City.

This full-time or part-time opportunity offers a base salary of $250,000–$280,000, a Monday–Friday schedule, and no inpatient duties, weekends, or call responsibilities. H-1B and J-1 visa candidates are considered, with sponsorship available for qualified physicians.

The Pediatrician will provide comprehensive primary care to newborns, infants, children, adolescents, and young adults through age 21. Experienced physicians and new pediatric residency graduates are encouraged to apply.

Pediatrician Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care from birth through age 21

  • Conduct newborn, well-child, adolescent, and young-adult examinations

  • Perform developmental assessments, preventive screenings, and routine physical examinations

  • Administer and oversee age-appropriate immunizations

  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and common pediatric conditions

  • Manage chronic and medically complex pediatric conditions within scope

  • Monitor patients’ physical, behavioral, and developmental health

  • Order and interpret laboratory testing, imaging, and other diagnostic studies

  • Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans

  • Prescribe medications and monitor responses to treatment

  • Counsel patients and families regarding nutrition, safety, wellness, growth, and developmental milestones

  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with pediatric specialists and other healthcare professionals

  • Communicate findings and treatment recommendations clearly to patients and families

  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely electronic medical records

  • Deliver culturally responsive care to Mandarin-speaking patients and families

Pediatrician Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree

  • Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics

  • Active New York State medical license or eligibility to obtain one

  • Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required

  • Outpatient pediatric experience is preferred

  • New pediatric residency graduates are encouraged to apply

  • Strong pediatric assessment and clinical decision-making skills

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and family-education abilities

  • Proficiency with electronic medical records

  • Commitment to culturally responsive, patient-centered pediatric care

Schedule
  • Full-time: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
