Mandarin Teacher – Early Childhood Education
Location: The Learning Experience – Hudson Yards, New York, NY
Pay: $25–$26 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Mandarin Teacher – Inspire Young Learners Through Language
The Learning Experience – Hudson Yards is seeking an enthusiastic Mandarin Teacher to introduce young children to the Mandarin language through engaging, age-appropriate experiences. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers while fostering a love of language and culture in a fun, interactive classroom environment.
As our Mandarin Teacher, you'll incorporate songs, stories, games, movement, and hands-on activities to help children naturally develop listening, speaking, and early vocabulary skills.
What You'll Do
  • Teach Mandarin to children through immersive, play-based learning experiences
  • Plan engaging lessons using music, storytelling, games, art, and movement
  • Encourage language development in a fun, supportive, and age-appropriate environment
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate Mandarin into daily routines and activities
  • Foster an appreciation for Chinese language and culture
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment
  • Follow all New York State and New York City licensing and health and safety requirements
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (spoken; reading and writing skills are a plus)

  • Must meet all applicable New York State and New York City childcare licensing requirements
