Job description

APAC People Operations Specialist

We are looking for a highly organized and agile People Operations Specialist to support our APAC People Operations and the broader People Team. This role will serve as a bridge between employees, local stakeholders, and global People teams, ensuring People processes are effectively designed, implemented, and continuously improved.

The ideal candidate combines strong People Operations expertise with a solid understanding of APAC employment practices and compliance, and is comfortable managing projects, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and translating requirements into practical operational solutions.

Process & Systems Implementation

• Support People Operations Initiatives from requirements through implementation, including new processes, SOPs, systems, and operational enhancements.

• Develop, document, and implement standardized SOPs that improve consistency, efficiency, compliance, and the employee experience.

• Support the implementation and optimization of time and attendance systems, including requirements gathering, testing, data validation, user acceptance testing, rollout, and post-implementation support.

• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, track project deliverables, identify risks, and drive issues through resolution.

APAC Compliance & Local Expertise

• Apply knowledge of APAC employment laws, regulations, and local HR practices to People Operations processes and projects.

• Partner with internal teams and external providers to ensure processes and systems appropriately reflect local requirements.

Stakeholder Partnership

• Act as a trusted local People Operations resource for APAC while partnering effectively with regional and global teams.

• Translate business and employee needs into clear requirements, recommendations, and actionable solutions.

• Support change management and communications associated with new or enhanced People processes and systems.

People Operations & Employee Experience

• Serve as a primary point of contact for APAC team members through the People Help Desk, ensuring inquiries are resolved accurately, efficiently, and within established service levels.

• Partner with People Operations, People Systems, Payroll, Total Rewards, and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve complex employee issues.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
