Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cycle Counter to support inventory accuracy across warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for executing daily cycle counts, maintaining system integrity within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and identifying root causes of inventory discrepancies to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
Job Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cycle count based on ABC classification and established schedules
  • Reconcile physical inventory with system data and process necessary adjustments
  • Maintain accurate documentation of counts, variances, and inventory changes
  • Monitor high-risk inventory items including high-value and high-usage materials
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine root causes
  • Analyze transaction history to identify breakdowns in receiving, production, or warehouse processes
  • Document findings and implement corrective actions for variances
  • Track trends and escalate recurring issues to leadership
  • Utilize Business Central to review inventory movements, ledger entries, and bin accuracy
  • Partner with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Recommend process improvements to reduce errors and improve inventory control
  • Support physical inventory counts and internal audits
  • Ensure proper labeling, bin organization, and adherence to warehouse standards
Job Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in cycle counting and inventory control
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control transactions
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems preferred
  • Background in manufacturing, construction, or modular building environments preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to connect operational issues to system discrepancies
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Self motivated with continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations
