Job description

Position title: Modeling and Simulation Specialist

Location: Fort Bragg (Fort Liberty), NC

Clearance required: SECRET

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Build, operate, and refine constructive and virtual 2D/3D terrain and simulation scenarios.
  • Develop, customize, and maintain simulation environments to support mission training objectives.
  • Assist in scenario authoring, terrain development, and system configuration to support training execution.
  • Coordinate with training staff, technical teams, and military personnel to ensure scenario accuracy and realism.
  • Associate; 4 years of related military experience may substitute.
  • 2 years developing scenarios with Virtual Battle Space (VBS) 4.
  • Familiarity building 3D terrain databases and entity objects.
  • Experience with constructive/virtual computer simulations, video editing, and authoring modeling/simulation scenarios; Army Mission Command and/or LVCG systems; one object-oriented language such as Java, C++, or.NET; military operational concepts.

  • Self-initiative: ability to follow project schedules and meet completion dates; team collaboration.
