Your work environment at EXP

We are seeking a Junior Civil Drafter to support the preparation and development of civil engineering drawings and design documentation. In this role, you will work closely with engineers and project teams to produce accurate and high-quality drawings for mining and industrial projects, contributing to the successful delivery of civil infrastructure solutions.

You will be part of a fast-paced mining and engineering team, supporting projects under the guidance of engineers and senior designers. This role provides exposure to civil design processes, drafting standards, and coordination across multiple engineering disciplines.

  • Prepare and revise civil drawings (site plans, grading, drainage) 
  • Support engineers in developing design deliverables 
  • Ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with standards 
  • Assist with Civil 3D drafting and coordination with other disciplines
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field 
  • 0-2 years of drafting experience (co-op or internship experience considered) 
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D 
  • Basic understanding of civil engineering concepts such as grading, drainage, and site development 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools  
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawing production
