Overview

Overview:

Tactica Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced and qualified Transportation Management Coordinator for a Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) contract supporting the Joint Task Force Gold (JTF-Gold) Operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage day-to-day transportation movements in support of JTF-Gold J4 operations at CONUS and OCONUS locations. Process and track transportation requests through the Defense Transportation System (DTS) and Joint Service transportation management portals. Prepare transportation documentation including movement orders, shipping instructions, and manifests for personnel and equipment movement. Liaise with installation transportation offices, carriers, and JTF-Gold representatives to arrange and confirm movement requirements. Maintain transportation logs, track shipment status, and report movement execution to the transportation management team. Coordinate air, ground, and sealift requirements for equipment fielding, exercises, and contingency operations. Assist in developing and updating transportation SOPs, contingency plans, and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with DoD and Joint Service transportation regulations, hazardous cargo requirements (HAZMAT), and host nation procedures. Support senior transportation managers with briefing preparation and logistics reporting. Perform other transportation coordinator duties as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Minimum 7-10 years of experience in DoD transportation coordination, movement control, or logistics operations. Prior service as an Army 88N (Transportation Management Coordinator) or equivalent MOS strongly preferred. Working knowledge of the Defense Transportation System (DTS), Global Combat Support Systems, and HAZMAT regulations. Familiarity with all service transportation regulations and DoD transportation policies. Strong organizational skills, time management, and communication skills. Active Secret security clearance required. Oral communicative skills must be sufficient to brief the J-4, Command Group, or other high-level organizations and individuals. Must have a Secret Clearance to start. Ability and willingness to travel in support of customer requirements. U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current adjudicated Top-Secret Clearance/SCI eligibility. Experience supporting Joint program offices, USASMDC, or other special mission organizations. HAZMAT transportation certification (49 CFR) and military shipping documentation proficiency. Associate's or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business, or related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Physical Requirements:

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
