Key Responsibilities

  • Work will include project and design activities including 3D CAD modeling, running design calculations and generating detailed drawings.
  • Applicants should have the ability to work in a team-based environment, collaborating with engineers, and designers and other peers.
  • Good analytical skills, capable of diving into details to uncover insights and deliver impactful solution as an individual contributor.
  • Provide models and drawing packages to suppliers, inside customers and rebuild teams and support the teams during the different phases of design.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Minimum associates degree in CAD Drafting Technology 
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new ideas and concepts for problem solving during the design phase
  • Fabrication experience - work or home - preferred to support compelx mechanical designs.
  • Good communication skills to share opinion and ideas for the engineers involved in the projects.
  • Strong CAD capabilities - SolidWorks is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and diverse organization across research, development, engineering and manufacturing.

The range for this position is $62,547.00 - $86,003.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
