Essential Job Functions
- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and upgrade mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain and repair equipment including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machinery, and related plant equipment
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments to perform maintenance tasks
- Observe equipment in operation and identify mechanical issues through sound, vibration, and performance indicators
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability
- Accurately document work performed using EBS or a similar Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Maintain good housekeeping standards in all work areas

- Two (2) years of experience in mechanical or industrial maintenance with hands-on troubleshooting or completion of a technical school program with related internship

Preferred Qualifications:
- Four-year technical degree or equivalent industrial experience
- Three (3) to five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience
- Steel mill or heavy industrial experience
- Experience with EBS or similar CMMS systems
- Experience with industrial hydraulic systems
- Air compressor operation and maintenance experience
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Understanding of basic electrical theory
- Gearbox setup and precision alignment experience
