What You'll Do

  • Accurately mix batters, fillings, and doughs according to company formulas and production schedules
  • Record all required data on daily reports and work-center schedules
  • Operate and maintain industrial mixing equipment including Hobart, AMF, Tonelli, and VMI mixers, braziers, chocolate melters, and margarine melters
  • Scale ingredients precisely and adjust formulas for different batch sizes
  • Communicate closely with your Lead or Supervisor to meet changing production demands
  • Maintain a consistent pace with the production line while upholding the highest quality standards
  • Report equipment issues immediately to minimize downtime
  • Actively participate in our yearly GFSI/FSSC 22000 food safety audit and help develop procedures and corrective actions
What You Bring
  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
  • 6 months 1 year of related manufacturing or mixing experience (food production preferred)
  • Strong math skills comfortable interpreting formulas and scaling batches accurately
  • Upper and lower body strength with good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination
  • Natural ability to lead and give direction to a Mixer Assistant when needed
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and committed to safety, quality, and GMP standards
  • Flexibility to work other shifts/hours as production needs require
