Responsibilities

  • Operate mixing equipment and machinery to produce consistent food blends according to established recipes and specifications
  • Measure ingredients accurately using basic math skills, ensuring proper proportions for each batch
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering strictly to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as baking, food handling, and processing to support production goals
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform mechanical troubleshooting when necessary to minimize downtime
  • Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment operation, including proper knife skills for ingredient prep
  • Support warehouse operations by operating forklifts or other material handling equipment as needed
  • Document production activities accurately, including batch records, quality checks, and safety logs


Experience

  • Prior experience in food production, manufacturing, or a restaurant environment is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP and CGMP practices
  • Hands-on experience with baking, cooking, or culinary techniques is a plus
