Job description

Summary:
As our Out-Bound Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for the procurement of carrier activities on the domestic side. Ensuring supplies are distributed accurately and efficiently. Tracking loads from when they are placed all the way through until delivery.
Responsibilities:
• Verifies weight and pallet count
• Determines the fastest, most economical way to transport products across the U.S.
• Sources drivers with best cost and service
• Coordinates the Bill of Lading to the service provider and the shipping warehouse
• Confirms and approves shipping invoices
• Maintains updated information in NetSuite
• Creates reports and summaries in regard to shipments
• Develops and optimizes carrier relationships
• Promotes strong core carrier relationships while negotiating and securing carriers to move freight throughout the business year
• Identifies and resolves customer complaints quickly and effectively while ensuring improvements are made to prevent repeat instances
• Produces action plans to support any performance deficiencies
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• 1+ years of progressive experience in Transportation Logistics or Operations
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Proven critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to foster positive relationships and strong teamwork
• Demonstrated expertise in load planning and shipment optimization
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and effective carrier performance preferred
