General Summary:

The MIS Analyst III will assist in leading the architecture, maintenance, and optimization of our enterprise technology infrastructure. In this role, you will analyze complex business problems, design strategic IT solutions, and ensure our systems align with long-term business goals. You will act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, providing advanced mentorship to junior staff.

Preferred Job Skills:

  • System Analysis & Design:
    • Evaluate existing information systems, identify operational gaps, and design robust solutions to improve business efficiency.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Strong understanding of Autodesk Build and its modules.
    • Familiarity with Oracle Primavera (P6 or Primavera Cloud) and ability to become proficient.
    • Understanding of construction workflows and project management processes.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Ability to Analyze and process large scale information
  • Security and Compliance
    • Ensure all system architecture and software licenses comply with data privacy laws, cybersecurity standards, and IT governance protocols.
    • Familiarity with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) protocol would be helpful but not required.
  • Training and Communication
    • Collaborate with department managers to translate business needs into technical specifications, user stories, and functional requirements.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to train and mentor staff effectively in both office and field settings.
    • Strong presentation skills to convey complex information clearly.
  • Organizational Skills:
    • High level of organizational skills to manage multiple projects and tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Become acquainted with current company software solutions.
  • Conduct core group and end user training classes and/or presentations as required.
  • Provide on-site training.
  • Develop and maintain training materials and agendas.
  • Help develop and uphold company standards and processes.
  • Assist in the vetting of new software to meet the companies growing technological needs.
  • Q & A testing of new software and or upgrades to existing software.
  • Provide Help Desk Support.
  • Assist in the gathering and organization of statistical information as directed by Department Managers.
  • Assist in problem definition and problem solving, by properly analyzing the issue and providing documentation and potential solutions.
  • Assist in the maintenance and issuing of software licenses.
  • Follow the sectors developments and recommend new MIS solutions or practices to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Up to 40% travel may be required.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed by the Department Head.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of Autodesk Build throughout Ace Electric, Inc.
    • Curate job templates across various divisions in collaboration with division champions
    • Work with division champions to improve and expand their usage and adoption of Autodesk Build
    • Stay on top of new developments to the software
    • Train both office and field personnel on the effective use of Autodesk Build
    • Consistent engagement with both the division administrators as well as individuals on project sites
  • Oversee the implementation of Oracle Primavera Cloud throughout Ace Electric, Inc.
    • Work with Division product champions to ensure adoption & improvement to processes.
  • Ensure uniformity and standardization while recognizing when customization is appropriate.
  • Facilitate buy-in from employees by demonstrating the softwares benefits.

Position Requirements:

  • License:Valid state driver's license as required by job conditions or by the company.
  • Education:High School Graduate/GED required. Bachelors degree in business management preferred.
  • Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience preferred. Experience in commercial construction preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a climate-controlled office setting with varying degrees of stress and time pressure.
  • Considerable amount of time making repetitive motions.
  • Considerable amount of time sitting.
  • Considerable amount of time using telephone and computer.
  • Sounds, noise levels may be distracting or uncomfortable.
  • Out-of-town work may be required


Required Physical/Mental Functions:

  • Comprehend and practice safe work procedures as outlined in Company Safety Handbook.
  • Operate company vehicle.
  • Read and interpret instructional manuals and written instructions.
  • Must hear and see well (either natural or with correction).
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, push, pull and reach overhead.
  • Able to lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Tolerant to prolonged sitting.
  • Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
