Ministry Development Associate
Position Summary
The Ministry Development Associate exists to help advance the mission and vision of Alive Church by supporting ministry initiatives, leadership development, organizational systems, communication efforts, and global ministry partnerships.
This role is designed for an emerging leader who desires to grow in ministry leadership while gaining practical experience across multiple areas of church life. The Ministry Development Associate will work closely with church leadership to strengthen ministry systems, support leadership development, assist with communication and social media initiatives, and help expand the impact of Alive Church and the Global Pastors & Leaders Network (GPLN).
The ideal candidate is a servant leader, highly organized, relational, teachable, spiritually mature, and passionate about helping people discover and fulfill God's purpose for their lives.
Primary Responsibilities
Ministry Leadership & Development
Assist in the development and execution of ministry initiatives across Alive Church.
Support leadership development efforts through Growth Track, Dream Team, Small Groups, Alive Leadership Institute (ALI), and Alive College.
Help identify, encourage, and develop emerging leaders within the church.
Participate in ministry planning, leadership meetings, and strategic initiatives.
Assist with ministry events, leadership gatherings, and training opportunities.
Support the ongoing health and effectiveness of ministry teams.
Systems & Organizational Excellence
Help build, maintain, and improve ministry systems and operational processes.
Assist in documenting workflows, procedures, and best practices.
Support ministry leaders in implementing systems that create clarity, consistency, and accountability.
Track ministry projects and help ensure initiatives move forward effectively.
Help strengthen organizational structures that support future growth.
Communication & Social Media
Assist in the creation, coordination, and distribution of ministry communication.
Support social media efforts across Alive Church ministries and initiatives.
Help identify stories of life change and ministry impact.
Assist with content planning, scheduling, and communication strategies.
Work alongside the Creative Team to ensure messaging aligns with the vision and culture of Alive Church.
Global Pastors & Leaders Network (GPLN)
Support initiatives that strengthen and expand the influence of GPLN.
Assist with communication and engagement for pastors and leaders connected to the network.
Help coordinate international ministry relationships and leadership opportunities.
Support the development of resources, content, events, and communication strategies that advance GPLN globally.
Assist in building systems that strengthen ongoing connection and engagement with leaders around the world.
Leadership Growth & Development
