Job description

Objective: Installers work diligently as part of DMA Custom Millwork’s installation crew to receive, distribute, and install cabinets and other items that are in DMA Custom Millwork’s scope of practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand technical drawings and interpret blue prints
  • Read and understand Contract Drawings
  • Understand and execute verbal instruction in English
  • Operate all hand, power tools, and specialty wood working tools
  • Take field measure/resolve on-site installation issues as they arise
  • Travel to job sites
  • Responsible for maintaining highest levels of safety, quality and customer satisfactions
  • Unload, carry, and install cabinets for a complete shift
  • Work as a part of a team that requires equal input and work from each member
  • Maintain personal carpentry tools and others provided by DMA Custom Millwork

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 year experience in finish carpentry, casework or millwork and cabinet installation
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multitask

Key Competencies/Skills:

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent finish carpentry and cabinetry installation skills
  • Solid technical skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Schedule:

  • Monday thru Friday with Saturdays required per job needs
