Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Military Trainer to join our team of qualified, diverse professionals located in Huntsville, AL. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Training and Training Development Team. Primary responsibilities includes; provide consulting expertise to military or defense clients in the development and evaluation of military training and doctrine, plan and execute some or all phases of military training, including instructional delivery, doctrinal development, scenario driven exercises, and after action review and analysis.

Will function as a member of a Training Team by performing instructor-led training to DOD Civilians and deploying units in both garrison and field environments. Assist with the accountability and maintenance of equipment used in support of all training; assist with the development of training material used in support of all training.

Basic Qualifications:
2 Years with Bachelors; 0 Years with Masters. Additional years of applicable experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Current active DoD Secret Security Clearance

  • Strong technical background with Military systems, i.e. FAAD, AMDWS, CRAM, or CUAS

  • Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision

  • Knowledge of military operations, procedures, and training activities.

  • Must be willing to relocate and work on-site in Huntsville, Alabama

  • Meet and maintain administrative, legal, and medical Department of Defense contractor deployment requirements for employment in any environment the US Military is or could in DODI 3020.41 Operational Contract Support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Military experience as a NCO or Warrant Officer

  • Certified Military Instructor courses

  • Documented experience with military academic instructional development at the individual and collective levels

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,800.00 - $98,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
