Job description

Job Title: Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Data Migration Specialist

Hybrid/Remote (as required)

Job Summary:

Next Generation, Inc. (NGI), an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking an experienced CRM Data Migration Specialist to assist our clients' technical teams in migrating 15 years of legacy Siebel CRM data, including file attachments, into a new ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM) platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Siebel data structures, large-scale data extraction, and the development of RESTful APIs for ingestion into enterprise platforms.

Job Requirements:

Work with our client's technical teams to export 15 years of Siebel Legacy CRM data, ensuring completeness and accuracy, including all file attachments.

Analyze Siebel database schema and data models to plan efficient extraction processes.

Develop and implement RESTful API solutions for ingesting extracted data into ServiceNow CSM.

Ensure data mapping, transformation, and cleansing meet quality standards before ingestion.

Collaborate with ServiceNow platform teams to define and validate data ingestion specifications.

Conduct test migrations, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance during the migration process.

Document migration processes, data structures, and API configurations for knowledge transfer.

Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards throughout the migration.

Provide technical support during cutover and post-migration phases to ensure smooth transition.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Proven experience with Siebel CRM data extraction and migration projects.

Strong expertise in RESTful API development, integration, and consumption.

Experience with ServiceNow CSM data structures and ingestion processes.

Proficiency in SQL and database query optimization for large datasets.

Strong understanding of ETL processes, data mapping, and transformation.

Experience working with large-scale data sets including file attachments.

Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Prior experience migrating from Siebel to ServiceNow or similar CRM systems.

Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell for automation.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or related certification.

Experience with cloud-based integration and deployment strategies.
