Job description

8x Social runs end-to-end UGC and creator campaigns for consumer and B2B technology companies across the US, UK, Europe, India, LATAM and the Middle East. We build creator networks per client, produce content at volume, and report on what actually moved the numbers. We pay several hundred creators on weekly and monthly cycles, with amounts driven by view thresholds, post counts and performance bonuses.

Today that work sits with account managers alongside their client load, and it does not hold: late payments, reconciliation errors, and creators who stop posting until they are paid โ€” which costs us campaigns. This role exists to end that. II. What you'll own Payment runs. Weekly and month-end creator payouts across every market we operate in. Reconciliation. A clean ledger and audit trail tying campaign deliverables, client revenue and creator payouts together. Creator queries.

Payment questions come to you directly rather than bouncing around account managers. Process. Build something that survives us doubling campaign volume, rather than a spreadsheet only you can operate. Flagging risk. Telling us when something in how we pay people looks wrong, so our CTO and external advisors can act on it. III.

What we're looking for

A strong bookkeeping or payment-operations background. A formal accounting qualification (ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent) is welcome but not required. Comfortable with high volumes of small transactions. Across multiple currencies and payment rails. Genuinely strong on detail. This role is judged on whether the numbers are right. Unbothered by the messy reconciliation reality. Of a company moving fast, and willing to fix it rather than complain about it. IV. Compensation $800 โ€“ $1,500 per month, depending on experience and location. Reviewed after three months against what you have actually taken off our plate. Fully remote, contract to start, with a view to something longer. V. Process Intro call with our Chief of Staff, then a working session on a real reconciliation problem from our books, then a call with our CTO, then an offer. VI.
