With a focus on providing talent for field/inside sales, medical device support, clinical support, and medical affairs our CSMS division has 10,000+ field professionals in more than 30 countries addressing physician and patient needs.

We are excited to announce that we are currently looking for a Virtual Patient Educator to join our team. The Virtual Patient Educator will provide education about specific diabetes treatments, and resources to help patients better begin and manage their diabetes and resources associated with their prescribed medication. Virtual Patient Navigators are responsible for participating in one-on-one communications with enrolled patients by telephone, video platforms, email and SMS strictly following the guidelines of the program. Since the program is strictly educational based, Virtual Patient Navigators do not provide medical advice or work clinically within this role.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Must work from a dedicated workspace in their primary home residence
  • Experience with direct patient interaction and support for persistence and compliance
  • Demonstrated time management skills; planning and prioritization skills; ability to multi-task and maintain prioritization of key projects and deadlines
  • Demonstrated effective presentation skills; excellent interpersonal (written/verbal/virtual) communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently fast-paced work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with customers and cross-functional partners
  • Fully competent in MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Excellent documentation accuracy
  • Drive and enthusiasm for supporting patients
  • Excellent listening and problem-solving skills
Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM-8:00 PM ET. Schedule flexibility is required based on business needs.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or BSN
  • 3+ year as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES)
  • Complete understanding and application of principles, practices, and standards in diabetes care directly with patients
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse, Registered Dietitian, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Pharmacist, or other relevant certifications that are Healthcare related
  • Contact Center Experience using a telephony platform is strongly
  • Motivational Interviewing experience
  • Bilingual (fluency in Spanish and English)

The potential base pay range for this role is $102,000 - $113,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
