Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients’ orthopedic conditions and create personalized treatment plans that meet their specific needs.
  • Implement evidence-based orthopedic therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
  • Supervise physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation technicians, ensuring they perform their duties efficiently and effectively while fostering their professional development.
  • Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, using clinical assessments and patient feedback to modify treatment plans accordingly.
  • Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, including exercises and self-management strategies to encourage an active role in recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes adolescents, adults, and older adults requiring orthopedic care, with diverse conditions ranging from sports injuries to post-operative recovery. Some specialized roles may also include pediatric care. Your expertise in orthopedic physical therapy will be vital in helping our patients regain function and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a graduate degree is preferred.
  • Possession of an active state licensure in physical therapy is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience focused on orthopedic physical therapy is required.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation methodologies and patient care protocols.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
Preferred Experience
  • Additional certifications in specialized orthopedic techniques or therapies are advantageous.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and outcomes tracking.
  • CPR certification is preferred, with additional advanced life support certifications being a plus.
