Position Overview

Tria Orthopedics is actively seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our Cherry Hill, New Jersey outpatient office in a full-time capacity. In this dynamic role, you will utilize your expertise in orthopedic therapy to provide comprehensive care aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing the overall quality of life for our patients. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each patient receives personalized treatment tailored to their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions to develop individualized treatment plans that promote optimal recovery.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and rehabilitation programs while adhering to professional standards and hospital policies.
  • Monitor patient progress through detailed documentation and adaptive adjustments to therapy strategies, ensuring alignment with recovery goals.
  • Supervise and mentor physical therapist assistants and technicians to uphold the highest level of care, while fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Engage in ongoing communication with patients, families, and caregivers to provide education about treatment protocols and strategies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to coordinate care and contribute to the overall treatment strategies for patients.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment within the facility, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on managing the care of patients facing various orthopedic challenges, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. A subset of your responsibilities may involve providing pediatric care for specialized cases, requiring a compassionate approach tailored to younger patients. By employing a holistic treatment model, you will help each patient regain their independence while enhancing their physical and emotional well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required. Advanced certifications in orthopedic physical therapy are advantageous.
  • Possession of an active state licensure in physical therapy is essential for practice in New Jersey.
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is required.
  • Current CPR certification is preferred, enhancing the safety and preparedness of our clinical team.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic assessment techniques, care planning, and treatment execution is crucial for success in this role.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, family members, and medical team members.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced outpatient rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.
