They maintain law and order; protect civil rights; carry firearms; provide assistance in emergency situations; investigate criminal activity and misconduct; and safeguard NGA personnel and assets. They also conduct patrols; prevent and detect violations; prepare accident and incident reports; and conduct searches, interviews, and briefings.
