Job description

This position requires U.S Citizenship, a DoD Security Clearance (NOT ACCEPTED - H1B, F1, or Greencard/Permanent Resident), and the ability to work onsite (remote/telework is not an option) - no exceptions.


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Microsoft Power Platform Developer who is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting business applications, automated workflows, dashboards, and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies. This role partners with customers and technical teams to transform business requirements into scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions that improve operational efficiency and support mission objectives. The developer participates throughout the solution lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing support while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices.


Responsibilities/Duties:


  • Design, develop, and maintain business applications using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and other Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Develop automated workflows, dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that improve business operations and decision-making.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 services, SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL Server, APIs, and other enterprise data sources as required.
  • Perform solution testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and ongoing maintenance to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and solution designs to support implementation and sustainment.
  • Ensure Power Platform solutions comply with organizational security requirements, governance policies, and development best practices.
  • Provide technical support, resolve application issues, and recommend enhancements that improve functionality, usability, and operational efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams, system administrators, cybersecurity personnel, and business stakeholders throughout the application lifecycle.
  • Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform capabilities and recommend new features and technologies that enhance mission support and business processes.


Education/Experience:


  • Due to Customer requirements, U.S Citizenship is required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoW Security Clearance for duration of employment. Personnel may be required to obtain and maintain a TS clearance.
  • Bachelor's level degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science.
  • 3 years of professional experience in computer design, software development or computer networks.
  • A CompTIA Security+ certification
