Job description

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Power Apps Developer to design, develop, and govern enterprise-grade solutions built on the Microsoft Power Platform. This role requires strong expertise in Dataverse architecture, security configuration, solution design, and platform governance.

The ideal candidate will act as a technical lead, working with cross-functional teams and technology managers, and ensuring Power Platform solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and tailored to meet the Tribe's needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand process workflows.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Power Apps (Canvas, Model-driven apps) and Power Pages to support business workflows
  • Develop and support Power BI datasets and reports connected to Dataverse and other enterprise data sources.
  • Build and maintain Power Automate flows to automate business processes and system integrations
  • Develop solutions leveraging SharePoint, Dataverse, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and third-party application
  • Create and maintain data models, entities, and relationships within the Power Apps environment.
  • Implement responsive and user-friendly UI/UX designs for optimal user adoption and satisfaction.
  • Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Power Apps solutions to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including directors and technology managers, to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Stay current with the latest Microsoft Power Platform updates, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and techniques.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to end users and stakeholders, including training and documentation as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS, PHP, Python, and basic coding is a plus
  • Knowledge of REST APIs or custom connectors.
  • Working knowledge of Copilot Studio a plus
  • Experience with data modeling, relationships, and connectors
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on Power Platform experience.
  • Experience with Power Platform ALM, managed solutions, and environment strategies
  • Deep expertise in Power Apps (Model-driven and Canvas), Power Automate, Power Pages, and Power BI.
  • Strong experience with Dataverse architecture, security roles, business units, and row-level security
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID identity and access management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft technologies such as SQL Server, Azure, Dynamic 365, SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365
  • Proven ability to design enterprise-ready solutions, not just individual apps.
  • Certification in Microsoft Power Platform is preferred. (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-400)
  • Possession of a valid driver's license. Must meet the Tribes auto insurance requirement throughout employment.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background security.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug tests as requested throughout employment.
  • Must be able to work day and evening hours, on weekends, and on-call availability for emergency maintenance may be required.
