Description

Leidos is currently interviewing for an Activities-Based Intelligence Analyst (Mid-Level) to join our team in Springfield, VA.

The Mid-Level Activities-Based Intelligence Analyst is responsible for supporting the collection, analysis, and dissemination of intelligence derived from the observation and correlation of activities, behaviors, and patterns across multiple domains. This role leverages data trend analysis, advanced analytic techniques, and collaborative intelligence production to deliver actionable insights to multiple offices and mission areas. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and adept at synthesizing complex information into clear, decision-ready products.

Key Responsibilities

Data Trend Analysis

  • Analyze large and diverse datasets to identify activity patterns, trends, and anomalies relevant to mission objectives

  • Apply statistical and analytic methods to correlate activities across time, space, and entities

Intelligence Production Support

  • Contribute to the development of intelligence products, including reports, briefings, and visualizations, based on ABI methodologies

  • Fuse activity-based data with other intelligence sources to provide comprehensive assessments

  • Ensure intelligence products meet quality standards and are tailored to stakeholder requirements

Multiple Office Production Support

  • Provide ABI analytic support to multiple offices and mission areas, coordinating efforts to meet competing priorities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ABI findings into broader intelligence operations

Collection Management

  • Support the planning and execution of collection strategies to capture relevant activity data

  • Recommend adjustments to collection priorities based on emerging trends and mission needs

Analytic Tool Utilization

  • Employ industry-standard analytic tools and platforms (e.g., Palantir, Analyst Notebook, ArcGIS) to conduct ABI analysis

  • Maintain proficiency in data visualization and analytic software to enhance product quality

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, preferably with exposure to Activities-Based Intelligence

  • Proficiency in analytic and data visualization tools (e.g., Palantir, Analyst Notebook, ArcGIS, Tableau)

  • Experience conducting trend analysis and supporting intelligence production

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing stakeholders

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and support diverse mission requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with willingness to be approved for a Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, Data Science, Criminal Justice, or a related field

  • Experience supporting defense, intelligence, or government organizations

  • Familiarity with emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, tools, and methodologies, with an understanding of their applications, implications, and integration into daily geospatial and intelligence workflows.

  • Familiarity with collection management and multi-source fusion techniques

  • Understanding of ABI methodologies and best practices
