What are the primary responsibilities in the Mid-Level Intelligence Analyst position?


Core responsibilities include working with engineers to conduct holistic, deep signals and protocol analysis of various Signals of Interest. Fuse data from national intelligence databases, sources, methodologies, and analytical tradecraft products to develop analysis that supports capability development efforts. Participate as a member of development teams by offering intelligence operator perspective; provide feedback on CONOPs and tool development. The ability to work unsupervised with minimal direction and the ability to self-start is a must.


What required background will make you successful?

  • US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
  • Current TS/SCI Clearance
  • Degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in signals intelligence, electronic warfare, or related technical analysis field
  • Proven ability to conduct comprehensive analysis of complex signal data
  • Experience with signal protocol analysis
  • Proficiency in analyzing various communication protocols (radio, digital, network)
  • Strong data extraction and pattern recognition abilities
  • Experience with statistical analysis and performance metrics evaluation
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical findings to diverse audiences
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to perform systematic analysis of systems to identify software, hardware, and interface issues and support resolution across the system lifecycle is crucial.
  • Attention to detail: Ability to identify and articulate discrepancy reports outlining issues or bugs with mitigation response deadlines.
  • Analytical skills: Ability to develop and interpret complex technical requirements and associate those to system engineering milestones within the development lifecycle.


Preferred skills:

  • Familiarity with Intelligence Community databases and systems
  • Understanding of intelligence collection methodologies and analytical tradecraft standards
  • Knowledge of classification guidelines and operational security considerations

Where is the position located?

This position is located at our Chantilly, VA office.

*The likely salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
