The law firm Maier Gutierrez & Associates is currently looking for a junior or mid-level associate attorney with a focus in personal injury. Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and draft pleadings and motions
  • Draft discovery and responses to discovery
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Respond to clients regarding litigation status
  • Monitor important deadlines and maintain a case calendar
  • Work on special projects as needed
  • Arbitrations and trials

Preferred skills:

  • Analytical verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Excellent computer and research skills
