Job description

Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is seeking a Help Desk Representative to provide Tier 0, I, and II IT and cybersecurity support services for our Navy customer onsite at the Washington Navy Yard (WNY) in Washington DC. The selected candidate will deliver critical end-user support to enhance availability, performance, and security of the WNY RDT&E network environment.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for end-user systems, including computers, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a Windows environment.
  • Support system imaging, computer rebuilds, token and account management, and preventive cybersecurity maintenance.
  • Maintain functionality and performance for WNY end users and enterprise customers.
  • Deliver Enterprise Service Desk/User Support services, including incident reporting, spillage management, and metrics tracking.
  • Provide user support for the Navy's Microsoft 365 Flank Speed environment.
  • Diagnose network issues and perform corrective actions to ensure system availability and performance.

Requirements
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance (required to start).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing help desk support for networks, web applications, software, and hardware in a Windows operating environment.
  • Possession of at least one of the following certifications:
    • CompTIA Sec+ (CE)
    • CompTIA Network+ (CE)
    • SSCP
    • CCNA Security
    • CND

Operating System Requirements
  • Must possess or complete Windows 11 certification or training within 6 months of hire.
  • Additional or updated Microsoft training must be maintained throughout the period of performance.
