CT Scan Technologist Position Summary
Performs CAT scan procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Assumes responsibility for designated areas, procedures and students as assigned.
CT Scan Technologist Position Requirements
Education
  • Completion of formal Radiologic Technology Training program approved by the JRC/ERT and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R).
  • Must maintain Maryland State Certification to practice Radiologic Technology in the state of Maryland and must follow all regulations as per those regulations.
  • Must maintain Delaware State Certification to practice Radiologic Technology in the state of Delaware and must follow all regulations as per those regulations.
  • ARRT Certification
  • CT Certification is required within a year of hire or transfer.

Experience
  • One year experience as a registered technologist.
  • Prior CAT Scan experience preferred.
