Job Summary

  • A Microsoft Education Trainer designs and delivers professional learning for educators, institutions, and education organizations to enable effective use of Microsoft technologies in teaching and learning. The role focuses on driving digital transformation in education, increasing product adoption, and building educator capacity through structured, high-impact training programs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Microsoft education-focused training sessions (virtual and in-person) for educators, school leaders, and education organizations, aligned with Microsoft-approved curricula and best practices.
  • Train educators on effective classroom and institutional use of Microsoft tools such as Microsoft 365, Teams for Education, OneNote, accessibility tools, and AI-powered education solutions.
  • Leverage AI tools and create/customize training content based on audience readiness, instructional goals, and education tools, ensuring measurable learning outcomes across multiple regions.
  • Facilitate workshops, demonstrations, and hands-on labs to support technology adoption, deployment success, and instructional impact.
  • Track and report training delivery, attendance, and impact using Microsoft-designated tools (for example, educator training trackers).
  • Stay current on Microsoft product updates, education programs, and learning technologies, and continuously improve training materials and delivery approaches.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft teams, Training Services Partners, districts, or institutions to support broader education skilling initiatives.


Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in training, teaching, instructional coaching, or professional development within Kโ€“12 or higher education environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft education technologies and their instructional applications.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage adult learners.
  • Ability to adapt instruction for diverse audiences and learning contexts (in-person, virtual, hybrid).
  • Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) status is commonly required or strongly preferred for delivering official Microsoft courseware.


Compensation / Salary Range: The typical pay range for this role is: USD $70,000/Yearly - $80,000/Yearly. Factors that may affect pay within or outside of this range may include but not limited to geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
