The AI Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end technical delivery of AI solutions, from design through production operations, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, governance frameworks, and business outcomes.

This role focuses on the hands-on implementation of approved AI use cases, leveraging the Microsoft AI ecosystem (Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio, Azure AI) and enterprise data platforms. Working within established governance controls, the AI Specialist ensures that solutions are secure, compliant, scalable, and deliver measurable value to the organization.

 Major Responsibilities
  • Design, build, test, and deploy AI solutions including Copilot Studio agents, Microsoft Foundry projects, Azure AI services, RAG implementations, and machine learning models.
  • Prepare required technical artifacts for governance gate submissions, including design documentation, threat models, data flow maps, test plans, runbooks, and operational procedures for AI solutions.
  • Test and validate developed solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and alignment with business goals.
  • Implementing monitoring, logging, and observability for deployed AI solutions in alignment with monitoring infrastructure.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance, optimization, retraining, and tuning of deployed models and agents based on monitoring data and user feedback.
  • Provide technical input during use case intake like feasibility assessment, effort estimation, platform fit, data and integration requirements to support triage and tiering decisions.
  • Support incident response and remediation for AI systems including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Contribute reusable patterns, components, prompts, and reference implementations to the AI Resource Center and prompt library to accelerate future solution delivery.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, data science, architecture, security, and platform teams to ensure AI solutions integrate cleanly with enterprise systems.
  • Work directly with users to provide support and training
 Education & Training
  • Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Awareness of responsible AI principles and AI governance practices (e.g., NIST AI RMF concepts, risk-based controls, TEVV).
  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and modern AI and ML frameworks
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft AI stack: Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio, Azure AI, Power Platform.
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices: model deployment, versioning, monitoring, retraining.
  • Ability to communicate technology designs, decisions, and issues effectively to all levels of management.
  • Adept at balancing autonomy, delegation, and communication.
 Experience
  • Proven experience designing and deploying AI/ML or generative AI solutions in enterprise environments
  • Experience implementing RAG, agent-based solutions, or predictive models in production
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft AI technologies (Azure AI, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry or equivalent platforms)
  • Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise data sources (e.g., SharePoint, Dataverse, Azure data services)
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholdersAnalytical thinking and problem-solving
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Preference fully fluent in English and French
