Job description

Role: Microsoft 365 Consultant
Location: Sacramento
Duration: 12 months
Responsibilities:
Provide expertise in M365/Azure/Exchange Online, Azure Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Services and Azure SSO, Azure Advanced Threat Protection, Certificate Services, Windows 2016/2019 server and Active Directory administration, Windows clustering, PowerShell for IT operations and optimization, and VMWare vSphere 7.x;
  • Provide consultation to team members in operations and management of M365;
  • Provide consultation to team members in establishing and adopting standard configurations for Windows Server 2016/19 on VMWare virtual servers and Azure/AWS cloud servers;

• Provide consultation to team members with building and configuring Windows 2016/19 servers on VMWare, Azure, or AWS platforms;
• Design and provide implementation guidance with standard Failover Clusters to host SQL Always-On clustering capabilities;
• Provide technical support in planning, testing, and implementing changes to servers in non- production and production environments;
  • Assess and recommend improvements to current processes and procedures;
  • Provide and utilize documented materials (e.g., processes, procedures, specifications, etc.) to provide technical knowledge transfer to team members.

Required Skills:
Five (5) years of experience designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting: Cloud Technologies such as M365, Exchange Online, Azure SSO, AD Federated Services (ADFS), and Certificate Services
Five (5) years comprehensive and practical experience supporting and maintaining Windows Server 2016/2019, VMWare vSphere 6.x/7.x
Advanced-level PowerShell scripting experience
Certifications:
  • MCSE: Windows Server 2016 or above
  • Azure or AWS: Administrator, Security, Architect, or DevOps

Expertise in Infrastructure Design and Configuration in Azure and AWS
Expertise in Server and Application Deployment and Automation in Azure and AWS
Expertise Administering: M365 Portal, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Advanced Threat Protection
