Job description

This job description is strictly for applicants with an “Accepting for Future Openings’’ status at Mi Tierra Cafe and Panaderia, La Margarita, Pico De Gallo and Mi Familia at the RIM in Front of House, Back of House, and Restaurant Management positions. You will be called for an interview once a position is available and matches the qualifications.

Brief Job Summary: As a Team Member at La Familia Cortez Restaurants, you will work alongside the service and support staff to provide a world-class dining experience to guests. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by other Team Leaders and/or Managers at any time.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a smile
  • Establish and maintain a rhythmic cycle of service
  • Professional full-service with the ability to work as a team
  • Able to multi-task to meet guests’ service needs under pressure

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish preferred
  • Ability to physically handle up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for hours at a time
  • Texas Food Handler Certification
  • TABC (depending on position)
  • Other duties as needed
