Education & Experience:

  • 5-7 years of related experience and an accredited bachelorโ€™s degree.

Job responsibilities:

  • Applying engineering processes, design criteria, and software applications to design and construct power related systems.
  • Supporting estimate preparation, developing design options, and preparing construction specifications.
  • Providing guidance, oversight, and quality assurance reviews for approved contractors as they develop design solutions, cost estimates, and construction packages
  • Creating a safe work environment by putting safety first
  • Understanding the process used for planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance
  • Understanding the functions and activities of various internal departments involved in design, construction, and maintenance
  • Understanding design practices and work processes, using all software applications used in design
  • Understanding industry and Company design standards
  • Supporting design standard and criteria development for the system
  • Supporting construction and maintenance teams during day-to-day operations
  • Estimating material for projects, transmitting construction packages, and supporting specifications.
