Metal Sales Representative

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers
  • Identify customer needs and recommend the right metal products and solutions
  • Prepare quotes, bids, and proposals while following up to close business
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through final sale
  • Partner with operations, production, and logistics teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
  • Stay current on market trends, pricing, and competitor activity
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and performance targets

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in metal sales, industrial sales, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of metal products such as steel, aluminum, stainless steel, or fabrication materials preferred
  • Proven ability to develop business and close sales
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Self-starter with strong organization and time management skills
