Borrelli Construction, LLC / Borrelli Metal Buildings specializes in the construction of pre-engineered metal buildings and post frame (pole barn) structures. We are an “Authorized Builder” for several nationally recognized building manufacturers. We are a family owned and operated business which has been serving the tri-state area for over 30 years. Over the past couple of years, we have experienced substantial growth, and we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team.  The candidate will oversee the project management of pre-engineered building structures from conception to completion.  Candidate must be outgoing, possess good communication skills, and be willing to learn our business and grow with the company.  
 
Responsibilities of Assistant Project Manager / Estimator:
 
·         Review and assist with preparing project estimates, including material pricing, site visits, supplier and subcontractor selection.
·         Must be able to read and interpret drawings, codes, and specifications in accordance with project requirements and documents.
·         Manage projects, both plan & spec and design / build.
·         Learn metal building and pole barn computerized / web-based estimating systems for the manufacturers we represent. 
·         Prepare specific scopes of work for suppliers and subcontractors.
·         Solicit supplier and subcontractor quotes.
·         Follow up with customers on the status of proposals / project award.
·         Review / prepare supplier & subcontractor purchase orders and contracts.
·         Prepare, manage, and log submittal packages.
·         Generate RFI’s for project clarification / requirements.
·         Prepare material lists for quotation and purchase.
·         Work with our Controller and Operations Manager on monthly AIA invoicing documents, project documents, change orders etc. 
·         Meet with customers and subcontractors as required.
·         Develop and track project scheduling.
·         Attend job-site meetings and or visits.
·         Must be willing to work a flexible schedule when required.
 
Professional and Technical Skills:
 
·         Strong customer focus and leadership skills, must be able to handle multiple projects.
·         
Ability to communicate in an effective and professional manner.
·         Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, MS Project, Word, and Outlook programs.
·         Working knowledge of Procore, Plan Grid and BlueBeam.
·         Applicant must be a detail oriented, organized, self-starter with good multi-tasking abilities.
 
Requirements:
 
·         3 years of experience in the construction industry.
·         A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required.
·         Pass a pre-employment drug test, physical and background check.
·         A valid driver’s license is required.
·         Formal training / college credits in construction management a plus.
