Job description

The Press Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of presses to produce parts and other products according to the order specifications. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot and repair any malfunctions and adjust settings to ensure the accuracy of the product. The Press Operator must also be able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams and be able to use a variety of measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor press and other machinery to produce parts and products according to customer and company specifications. This includes up to a 50ft press brake
  • Adjust settings of machinery to ensure accuracy of the product
  • Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
  • Use a variety of measuring instruments

Qualifications

  • Experience operating a press or other related machinery
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
  • Able to read a tape measure and know decimals
  • Able to adhere to safety protocols and regulations
