Helpful experience includes micrometer, caliper, shop math, CNC, mill, lathe, machinist, band saw, tape measure, forklift, grinding, QC, metal fabrication, etc.
We perform a hair follicle pre-employment drug screen test and lift test up to 65 lbs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS-
  • Run production, monitoring CNC machines/ lathes / mills / saws. Check parts throughout run making necessary adjustments to conform to specifications.
  • Set up equipment, install tools and fixtures. Monitor entire run due to unique forgings.
  • Edit G and M programming codes (will train if needed). Verify blueprint and dimensions. Identify forgings and material type. Read and understand entire part routing.
  • Select, load, and verify existing program to ensure safe and productive machining- edit if necessary, notifying Supervisor of changes.
  • Visually inspect, layout and prepare materials as required. Examine material visually for flaws, defects and clean up.
  • Calculate chain and strap adjustments to ensure the safe lifting and transporting of parts.
  • Load material into machine utilizing overhead crane and secure to ensure safe machining on forgings that can exceed 100,000 lbs.
  • Prior to loading part, identify forgings, material type, and verify blueprint and dimensions. Examine material visually for flaws, defects and clean-up.
  • Select, load and verify existing program to ensure safe and productive machining- edit if necessary, notifying Supervisor or Group Leader of changes.
  • Actively participate in safety program to ensure the continued success of the program. # 1876

QUALIFICATIONS-

The estimated pay range for this position is the lowest and highest range we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We ultimately may pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. The actual pay offered to a candidate will depend on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, seniority, geographic location and prevailing minimum wage, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.
