Job description

Meta is seeking a Product Marketing leader who is passionate about technology, innovation, and creating valuable experiences for advertisers. This Product Marketing lead will manage a team of Reels Monetization and Ads Experiences PMMs within the Instagram Business organization. This team helps build and launch Reels ad products so advertisers can harness the power of video to drive performance and engage users. They also help launch and scale ads in new surfaces such as Threads and partner with central Ads teams on bringing AI and creative transformations to Instagram ads.Success for this team is influencing product roadmaps through market research, product testing and insights, and building effective go-to-market strategies to bring innovative advertising experiences to market. This candidate will lead a team of Product Marketers focused on both inbound and outbound phases of product marketing. Inbound responsibilities are to represent the advertiser perspective in product strategy and development, via market analysis, opportunity sizing, and identifying unmet needs from discussions with internal and external stakeholders. Outbound responsibilities are to create and execute go-to-market strategies with advertiser value proposition messaging, market positioning, external-facing enablement and proof points, and alpha and beta testing.This role requires experience leading teams, influencing executive and cross-functional stakeholders through data-driven proposals, applying strategic and analytical thinking to ambiguous problems, and coaching direct reports toward measurable growth. This role is highly cross-functional and will work closely with the Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, Sales, Research, Communications, Marketing and other partner teams across Meta.
Product Marketing Lead, Instagram Reels Monetization and Ads Experiences Responsibilities:
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of highly skilled Product Marketers
  • Develop strong cross-functional partnerships with peer leads in Product Management, Engineering, User Research, Design, Communications, Sales and other key teams
  • Drive product & GTM strategy bridging short-term execution and long-term vision
  • Identify opportunities and represent view of the market by conducting industry research, including deep quantitative, qualitative and competitive analysis
  • Distill and surface market feedback that informs product roadmap and improves advertising and business services offerings for the product portfolio
  • Lead and coordinate go-to-market efforts globally to support product launches and scaled adoption
  • Effectively and regularly communicate with leadership within the Product and Sales organizations
  • Set clear strategy, vision, and prioritization for the team which aligns with product and organizational priorities
  • Build and sustain a high-performing team with exceptional product marketing skills

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree
  • 10+ years of experience working in a product management, product marketing, management consulting, digital advertising, or equivalent function
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and building consensus across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience gathering and analyzing customer and market feedback, translating this information into requirements and functional specifications
  • Experience in setting product priorities and managing and communicating trade-offs

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Experience working on Instagram products or marketing on the Instagram platform
  • Track record of influencing behavior at a variety of levels in the organization, including cross-functional leaders
  • Digital advertising product development, including monetizing new surfaces, building new placements, and a technical understanding of Meta’s ads products
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Track record of driving effective Go to Market, including launching new products and scaling adoption
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
