Job Summary:
Stellix Global Services is a leading Digital Automation solutions provider transforming various industries. They are seeking a Senior Engineer to support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and enhance their functionality to meet customer requirements while collaborating with experienced engineers.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Deliver positive outcomes for our customers, not just IT/OT maintenance or writing code
โ€ข Provide services in several of the following services areas based on your specific experience:
โ€ข Develop and implement configurations for installs, migrations, interfaces for Syncade MES or other Operations Management platforms
โ€ข Implement bug fixes in existing software
โ€ข Installation of physical, virtual, and cloud-based systems
โ€ข Performing tests of projects being prepared for deployment
โ€ข Interact with Senior and Principal Enterprise Solutions Engineers to deliver solutions: Develop interfaces to and from the MES system
โ€ข Develop scripts and functions to augment system configuration in a variety of technologies including VBS, C#, and XSLT
โ€ข Support and manage the system and its associated components throughout the lifecycle of the project
โ€ข Develop reports in a variety of technologies including SSRS (SQL), Crystal Reports, XSLT, C#
โ€ข Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to implement solutions effectively
โ€ข Contribute ideas to improve methods and techniques within your projects
โ€ข Provide uncompromising quality to all work processes in designated area of responsibility
โ€ข Stop those work processes at any time it is believed that quality is being compromised
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Conferred Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or the Applied Sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or their scientific equivalent
โ€ข A positive continuous learning attitude ready to take on the next technical challenges coming our way, including but not limited to: New Software Partners of Stellix providing MES or related functionality, AI
โ€ข 5-10 years of OT or IT Systems Management, OT Interface Development, or related technology and coding experience.
โ€ข Highly organized with critical attention to details, along with good time and priority task management
โ€ข Basic programming and code debugging skills specifically VBS and C#
โ€ข Understanding of SQL database fundamentals and syntax
โ€ข Working knowledge of virtualization, VMware, or equivalent
โ€ข Experience interfacing with or supporting software in a Windows Server environment
โ€ข Experience developing or supporting web-based applications
โ€ข Understanding of cGMP and manufacturing operations
โ€ข Relevant Technologies and Systems: Primary: Syncade; Secondary: VBS/VBA, C# or similar, VMware, MATLAB, SQL, LIMS (various), Reporting Systems (XSLT, Crystal Reports, SSRS), and Windows Administration; Related: ERP (SAP, OPM, etc), and DeltaV
โ€ข Strong communication skills in two parts: 1.) very strong writing skills utilizing the rules of English grammar; 2.) verbally clear, concise, and grammatically correct oral (speaking) communication skills in English
โ€ข Travel is based upon projects and pursuits, but at times will require travel to client facilities in New England; occasional travel throughout the United States or globally is possible
โ€ข Physical demands: Lifting up to 30 lbs.
