Job Summary: 

At LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc., the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer I will play a key role in managing and maintaining IT investment planning and budget management, overseeing tangible and intangible assets, coordinating communication with IT-related teams, resolving system issues, and supporting the setup and management of IT systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Document and standardize operating procedures and manuals.
  • Define issues, diagnose root causes, and recommend and implement corrective actions.
  • Enhance system efficiency and improve the process.
  • Collaborate with personnel at Korea headquarters and other engineers on-site to support business requirements.
  • Respond to user inquiries and issues, including IT helpdesk.
  • Regularly inspect IT infrastructure to minimize production downtime and make improvements.
  • Manage production field IT devices, such as production data acquisition (PDA) and monitoring systems.
  • Support office and factory IT accessory purchasing.
  • Perform other responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Engineering required. 
  • 1+ years of experience in the Manufacturing Execution Systems field preferred.
  • Data Analysis Projects and Production System Projects experience preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support abnormalities affecting manufacturing operations and work with South Korea HQ and other global sites.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Bilingual written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools and solutions strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including report writing and oral communication.
